Three years ago, I was working an 8 to 5 office job as an engineer which was considered to be the "dream" opportunity. I found myself unfulfilled and drained, only living for the next time I could take leave so that I could explore and live my true passion of traveling.

Growing up in South Africa, I have been lucky enough to explore this beautiful country from corner to corner, finding the hidden gems and truly experiencing the amazing diversity of landscapes, activities, wildlife and cultures South Africa has to offer, which is truly unrivalled.

I decided to create an online platform where travelers could design a personal travel package throughout South Africa, taking care of all accommodation, activity and transportation needs. Providing a means to travel South Africa in a safe and stress-free manner.

My personal experience and frustration caused by being bound by set travel packages, is what inspired me to create a platform where you are in full control of creating your own itinerary. Your package is designed to your preferences and all arrangements are taken care of, with a personal guide throughout your trip to show you the ropes and assist with any arrangements.

Ruan is a qualified game ranger and field guide operating safari's in the Southern Kruger National Park, which he has been doing for the past 5 years.

He previously worked as a tour guide for Nomad Africa, leading overlanding tour groups through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe, after which he worked as a freelance tour guide for a variety leading tour agencies in Southern Africa for 5 years.

He is a volunteer for rhino and pangolin conservation operations in Manyoni Game Reserve and has an unrivalled passion for the natural world and wildlife.
